- Provenza: The place to go now if you are into parties and restaurants, in my opinion as a local, the prices have skyrocketed for us as paisas. I rather go to called de la buena mesa in envigado.

- Petty theft: Crowded areas like malls (e.g., outside Santa Fe Mall) attract snatch-and-grab thieves.
- Scopolamine scams: Avoid accepting drinks from strangers in bars.
Tip: Book accommodations near Patio Bonito, Provenza, Parque del Poblado, a well-lit, busy street with 24/7 security.

- Family-friendly vibe with tree-lined streets and parks.

- Late-night risks: Stick to populated areas like Circular 1 after dark.

Tip: Rent near Laureles Estadio for proximity to Metroplus stations, San Joaquín is a good area too, I love it.

- Isolated streets: Avoid walking alone at 10 pm outside the park unless it’s the weekend.

Tip: Stay near Calle de la Buena Mesa (Envigado) for safety and convenience, this area is where I enjoy going out for dinner, you will find good food for reasonable prices, friendly people around, mostly locals.
